Jenn’s eating disorder began at age eight, so she understands what it’s like to live with an ‘awful secret,’ as a young child. The good news is that most sufferers of an eating disorder respond positively to treatment in the early stages of the disorder. Jenn is particularly passionate about getting her message of hope to kids and their parents. She covers important topics such as; “Just the Way I Am,”(how to have a healthy body image) “Diets are for Dummies,” “Asking for Help,” and “How to Help My Friend.”

The college years were the worst for Jenn, but she learned many valuable lessons from hitting rock bottom. Students are drawn to her honesty and passion for sharing her truth. Additionally, Jenn’s music is a perfect fit for the college crowd—with her latest CD, “Errors and Admissions,” receiving airplay on over 175 college radio stations nationwide.

From health-focused events to self-improvement seminars, Jenn’s presentation is a powerful addition to the agenda. Jenn is a part of the Speakers Bureau for the Eating Disorder Coalition in Nashville, TN and is also a member of Toastmasters, International. Her story and songs are certain to make a lasting impression.

Recovery Centers

Jenn began her recovery journey in a 12-step program for eating disorders in 1999. She spent several years working with and learning from others in recovery. During that time, she became involved with several service positions including, Entertainment Chair, for various recovery retreats.
